Pareto's Law: The 80-20 Rule
Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 04:35PM Action, Action and more Action is the driving force of your Internet marketing business. Without it you will never realize success. And no it does not have to be perfect action. There really is no such thing regardless of who you are. You have never arrived.
According to Pareto's Law better known as the 80-20 rule, you will get 80% of your results from 20% of your efforts.
This is very important to take note of. Look at all your daily activities and become aware of on what activities you spend time. Go so far as to keep a timer when you begin any task and see how long it takes you to write an article or blog post etc. Afterall, posting content on the internet is your real estate that will bring in your leads.
If you are working 5 hours per day on your business, you will want to spend 4 hours producing content (80% of your work time). The other hour can be spent doing office tasks and adding to your skills through learning.
The biggest mistake you as a newbie internet marketer will make is staying stuck in the learning mode because you think you don't have enough knowledge. This is far from the truth. Just Do It. Start writing a 300-400 word article about something new you've learned. Remember: You have a unique perspective.
