Legitimate Network Marketing: Are you a real Entrepreneur?

Most people who begin a legitimate network marketing opportunity do so with the intention of having their own business and having the freedom to run their business independently of others and expect an outcome that reflects their creativity, perseverance.

But, the real question is, does joining a legitimate network marketing opportunity empower you the business owner to have full control of the outcome of your efforts?

Let's first start by looking at how most network marketing companies are set up.

In my network marketing company, I am considered an associate. By definition, an associate is someone who assumes subordinate status without full rights and privileges.

Contrast that with the definition of an entrepreneur who is someone willing to take upon herself or himself a venture and takes full responsibility for the outcome. Obviously, there is some disparity between the 2 definitions.

My legitimate network marketing company reserves the right to terminate my associate status should I not follow the agreement that I signed at the beginning of our relationship. The terms specified are not unreasonable and I'm sure they are consistent with those of other companies.

But here is the glitch. There are other circumstances that can profoundly effect your business. I learned of these first hand when my company ran into legal issues with the attorney general of the state of Texas.

Some of the challenges that I now encounter include:

    • I can not directly link to the company website from any of my content on the internet
    • I must refrain from making any disease claims (this is consistent for all health practitioners and others who have wellness websites or post content anywhere on the Internet)
    • I cannot even mention trademarked company product names in any of my web content

So, does this sound like you are totally in control of your business? I have to say a great big NO!

Does this mean that You or I should not pursue any network marketing oportunity? Absolutely not.

But you must be aware of the limitations that are imposed on you in any MLM business. Awareness will go far in your ability to structure your business so you work with the system rather than fighting it.

Network marketing should be one of the many ways you generate income in your business not the only way.

Any smart entrepreneur structures their business to have multiple streams of income not just one.

Another very valuable component of network marketing is that you can generate residual income which is where the real wealth is.

At Renegade Professional you will learn how to build a real business that puts you in the driver's seat. Learn how to brand yourself using attraction network marketing and generate multiple streams of income.

Easy Beginner Internet Marketing Lesson #1 - How to easily resize images for the web

When you begin to build your business on the internet there are so many new things to learn especially if you have done very little on the Internet. You may feel overwhelmed, discouraged, fearful, doubtful that you will be able to overcome all of the challenges that you will meet up with.

As a beginner internet marketer, I, too, felt all of those emotions and more.

Imagine not being able to resize an image. I didn't even have the foggiest idea how to do it. So, whenever I needed an image to place on my blog or hub page or squidoo lens, I would spend hours looking for just the right size image so I didn't have to resize it.

The good news is, I found just the right tool that has taken all the fear and intrepidation out of dealing with images, pictures etc.

Know this, I can now write an article, complete with all the links, perfectly sized pictures, etc. all within one hour. One of my most difficult articles that I posted at squidoo took me 3 days. You heard me right, all of 3 days.

Those days are over, and they can be for you as well.

Check out this nifty free tool that is easy to use even for beginners.

Creating Dynamic Web Content for Beginner Internet Marketers

Creating dymanic web content is a challenge for most beginner as well as seasoned internet marketers. The following 6 tips will help you overcome the agony of coming up with fresh content for your blog, website, articles...

Tips for creating dynamic web content

    • If you have published content, a very simple strategy is to repurpose an article or blog post that you have written by following this technique. Post an old article in a Microsoft Word document.

Using the tools section in the top bar of your screen, use auto summarize which will result in the keypoints being highlighted. Delete the unhighlighted sections. Then add 2 to 3 new paragraphs and a new title and voila, a new article that can be posted at Ezine Articles, Hub Pages, Squidoo, or where ever.

Check this out for a great little video of how to repurpose your articles.

    • Use a simple template or a predetermined format that you can use whenever you write an article or newsletter for your autoresponder series. The one I use is as follows:

    1. Define the problemand how that problem will effect your audience. It is very important that you define the benefit or WIIFM (what's in it for me). Otherwise, your reader will be out of there very quickly.

    2. Give several solutions to the problem showing that you have done your research, thereby establishing trust

    3. Introduce your solution and why it is the best option.

    4. Have a strong call to action that defines what you want your reader to do next.

This is a very simple formula that I use when writing and it has served me well.

    • Use information that you learn by attending webinars, teleconferences and other educational seminars. Put your own spin on it, how you will apply it in your business, what problems will be solved by using the new information.
    • Keep a log of your ideas and when you feel creative, use that idea in a new blog post, article, web page.
    • Be on the lookout for great content on other people's blogs and link to the great content like I did in this post about repurposing content.
    • Visit forums frequented by your niche and see what they are writing and have questions about. Then write a blog post that addresses this and go offer value with a solution and link to your blog. You've just created an inbound link to your content.

Creating dynamic web content when you are a beginner internet marketer does not need to be difficult. For more tips about beginner internet marketing signup for my Monday Morning Marketing Minute.

The Finer Points of Beginner Internet Marketing: Creating a Forum Signature

As you build your beginner internet marketing business you can tend to the finer points of internet marketing. One of those points is to design a great signature that contains a hyperlink to your blog or website. Preferably, it would contain a keyword that you are wanting to get ranked for by Google and is relevant to the content it is linked to.

Here is a great article by a friend and mastermind partner that describes the finer points of creating a signature.

Read this article about creating a forum signature. It refers to Better Networker forum, but you can use the same idea anywhere.

This is a signature link that I use at Better Networker and in my email correspondence.

    Your 90 Day Success Guide

Some tips to keep in mind when designing your signature:

    • Have something that is compelling and creates curiosity. In my example. 90 day success guide does just that. How can I be successful in just 90 days?
    • Link to a lead capture page that speaks to your niche market. If you know nothing about Better Networker, it is a community of internet marketers. The audience consists of beginners and experienced internet marketers. My signature speaks to beginners.
    • A call to action
    • Avoid using your actual full signature. Though this really looks cool, in this day of identity theft, erring on the side of caution is advisable.
