Are you commitment phobic with your legitimate network marketing business?

One of the biggest mistakes I have witnessed with some of my leaders in my legitimate network marketing business is their reluctance to make a 100% commitment. Consequently, as a result, if the going gets tough it is very easy to QUIT! Many treat their network marketing business like a hobby.

So exactly what does commitment look like in your network marketing business?

Let me tell you a little about my story that illustrates the concept of commitment well!

When I started in my network marketing company, I was very excited and decided I was willing to do whatever it took to achieve my financial independence goals. I was prepared to invest in my business because I realized I had very little business experience and thus was needing training and maybe even outsourcing for the lack of some of the skills I knew were needed.

These were some of the things that I did:

• Set up a home office that was conducive to allow me to work at home. My husband and I purchased a custom built desk that allowed the two of us to work in the office with two computers and seperate working areas. This allowed each of us to work together without bumping into each other, having to decide who would use the computer, etc.
• We hired an attorney. The attorney  filed  the necessary papers to make my business a legitimate entity. He helped us determine which option between setting up a LLC (Limited Liability Company), C Corporation or an S Corporation would be best for us. This gives you important legal protection.
• We hired a CPA to file our quarterly and federal income taxes. Trust me, this can get very complicated since the tax laws change yearly. Avoiding a tax audit will be worth this investment!
• I set up  a work schedule because one of the biggest challenges working from home is the

• I committed to training in the areas that I felt were missing for me especially marketing. I enrolled in Renegade Professional which is very helpful in teaching all of the skills that are necessary to build an internet network marketing business. It is also very effective at teaching how to generate online business leads and attraction marketing principles.
• I applied for a business credit card and checking account to seperate our personal finances from my business' finances. This makes it easier for bookkeeping and tax documentation.

My legitimate network marketing company ran into some significant product distibution problems around a new preservative free skin care line. At about the same time, there were some legal issues with the attorney general's office that threatened to close it down. As you can imagine there was a large exodus of associates from the company in spite of the high quality products produced by this company and it's purpose driven mission.

I had done a significant amount of research before joining this company. It met all the criteria for being my best network marketing company. This along with the fact that I had alot invested in my business eliminated the choice of throwing in the towel.
